Jorge Suarez-Kilzi is an architect, designer and artist of whom this site is a portfolio for some creative results of unique home decoration, lighting and furniture works, aiming to find a place in the modern and cultured spaces of the 21st century European lifestyle.

Some of his creations, such as the “Mush Lamp” and the “Giraffe Lamp,” have been featured in various interior design magazines. This has led him to position himself as a leading designer of custom lighting and furniture.

 

The “Tumble” Chairs

Thin. Flimsy. Wobbly. These are adjective I often like in things or even plants. These chairs are light tubular stainless steel sections imitating a stretching back or a crooked branch leaning to one side. These chairs are one of my favourite designs and they are filled with charisma! There are two variations available, the wider and lower armchair and the armless chair with a taller support for the back. Write to contact@kilzi.es for more info.

The "Hat" Lamp

The “hat” lamp has a volcano shaped top piece in opaque teak wood, with a small opening at the tip. The light runs down to the lower part of the piece creating a floating illusion. This again moving shape is composed of a crooked axis cylinder and a non symmetrical lathed section. Possible variations in materials are oak, cherry and meranti wood (bespoke pieces will come at a charge).

These pieces cherish tradition and craftsmanship all while using a contemporary and relaxed language.

The “Cashew” Lamp

The “Cashew” lamp is a Numbered, Authenticated and Limited edition of 25 Unique pieces, created collaboratively with each client. This Lamp is unlike anything else done before. It combines materials and finishes contrasting the heavy and the light, the pure and the impure. The piece may evoque ancient civilisations or extreme futurism. It is in a way an “Artifact of the Future”.
